Large Provencale Bowl
A large size Provencale bowl made in France by Poet-Laval, a lovely rustic piece with a deep honey glaze, two handles and a useful pouring lip. A sturdy piece of French country kitchenalia it measures 12" diameter at the rim, has a lovely ribbed interior, weighs just over 2 kgs and is perfect for cake & pancake making or fruit and vegetable display and also makes a lovely table centrepiece. In excellent condition with no damage, it has glaze splashes to the interior often found on old provencal pottery. It is marked Faience Provencal du Poet-Lavel, France on the base.
